After that fiasco Chanel caused with their poorly thought-out advent calendar for the year 2021, it is refreshing to see designers advertise something that may just heal our broken hearts. 

The calendar includes all three - fragrance, makeup, and skincare!

But first, let's take a moment to appreciate that beautiful packaging! Dior did such an amazing job with this one. The amount of detail and work put into the packaging is something that I highly value, because not only do I want my products to be high-quality, I also expect the packaging to be Instagram-worthy. And let's just say, this advent calendar is definitely worthy of its own account. 

The artist behind this masterpiece is Alice Shirley, who created an enchanting floral world filled with magic. 

Now, let's see what exactly do you get for your money.

- DAY 1 -

Miss Dior - Rose & Roses fragrance 

A miniature sample of the famous perfume. Perfect for traveling as it doesn't take much space but looks and smells divine.

Similar to days 1, 3, and 5, it is a Dior miniature fragrance. A beautiful and feminine vanilla perfume, perfect for date nights and high-class parties. 

- DAY 9 -

Dior Prestige - La Mousse Micellaire

Dior Prestige wasn't included in previous Dior advent calendars, so this is a nice step-up in their beauty game. It is a travel-sized packaging, with beautiful gold shine.

- DAY 10 -

Dior Homme - Eau de Toilette

This is the second men's fragrance included in the calendar. The difference is that this isn't the spraying type of fragrance, but it needs to be dabbed into the skin with the dabbing stick.

- DAY 11 -

Miss Dior - creme de Rose

It is a nourishing hand cream for women, leaving hands feeling nice and soft and smelling like roses.

- DAY 12 -

Capture Totale - Moisturizing Cream

It is a thick and rich moisturizing cream that smells and feels divine. It doesn't come with the applicator, which is a shame since the full-size product comes with a wand.

- DAY 13 -

Dior Show Iconic Overcurl - Mascara

Rich pigmented mascara, very popular among make-up artists and is said to not be prone to smudging. 

- DAY 14 -

Dior Prestige - La Creme - Texture Essential

It is a miniature of their Prestige nourishing creme. Absolutely adorable.

- DAY 15 -

Dior - Rouge 999 - Lipstick

To match day 9's gorgeous red nail polish, Dior packed their iconic lipstick as well! It's their signature matte lipstick, a perfect classic for any occasion.

- DAY 16 -

Miss Dior - Eau de Parfum

This is the redesigned and reformulated version of their original Miss Dior fragrance. With a glittery bow and lighter-colored perfume, the container now looks even more adorable. 

- DAY 17 -

Forever - 24-hour - Foundation with Sunscreen - 2n

It is yet another foundation, but this time enhanced with SPF protection, which is quite amazing. However, as I said before, I don't think putting foundations in advent calenders is a good idea. The shave 2n is pretty light, so I don't think it will be suitable for many people. 

- DAY 18 -

Capture Totale - Super Potent Eye Serum

For day 18 Dior prepared their Capture Totale eye serum, equipped with a suitable, metal applicator tip. 

- DAY 19 -

Dior Prestige - Mico Lotion De Rose

This micro lotion can be applied as a serum and it has a pump applicator which is very handy for traveling or just to be carried in a handbag.

- DAY 20 -

Gris Dior - Parfume

Another very popular Dior fragrance that isn't quite extreme as perhaps day 3's perfume for men. It is a calmer scent, suitable for everyday and casual wear.

- DAY 21 -

Dior Prestige - Micro Lotion De Rose - Advanced Serum

Similar to the serum from day 19, it is a beautifully packaged, breathtakingly beautiful fragrant serum with a pump applicator.

- DAY 22 -

Dior - Shade 100 - Lipstick

The neutral-toned Dior lipstick with a matte finish. It's their medium from the color specter, classic, and suitable for everyday wear if you don't wish to go bold with the red lip.

- DAY 23 -

J'adore - Eau de Parfum - Mini

A travel-sized fragrance with a gorgeous teardrop container. This fragrance is suitable for nighttime wear.

- DAY 24 - 

30 Montaigne - Fragrance Candle

Applause for the queen of the show! This Dior candle comes in lovely, calendar-themed packaging. Even the box is too beautiful to be discarded. The candle itself is gorgeous and had the same moonlight-lit blue magical forest vibe and design.
